Kybella

Kybella is a non-surgical FDA approved injectable used for the treatment of submental (below the chin) fullness. Double chins can be caused by a number of different factors including genes, weight gain, or even by aging. Even with diet and exercise, submental fullness can be difficult to get rid of. Fortunately, we do have a solution. Kybella is made up of deoxycholic acid, which is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, Kybella destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal. With that said, multiple treatments (2-4) are likely needed.
